Brain vs heart melancholy.."Not getting ...if i should listen to my heart or brain....This time :-O"

The brain will tell us that it is the most important organ in the body and we believe it. It is responsible for all thoughts after all, so you can expect that it will say that.
But what about the heart? Within our heart lies a mysterious feeling – we know when something is right and when something is not. Within our heart lies God’s plan for us – if we search our heart, we know we were created for a purpose, even though our brain constantly denies it and tells us that we are just born to die. Our brain invented science after all by studying the external world around us. Our brain invented most everything, in fact, our heart just tells us to live passionately – not always practical.
Our brain tells us that we are flesh and blood and the heart asks : “what about spirit? what about conscience? what about the CREATOR? what about meaning?”
Our brain retorts: “where is the proof?”
So – who should we let rule us?
Love is in the heart, logic is in the brain. Both are equally useful both can sometimes contradict each other and they often do not agree.
The Body awaits instructions: To be or not to be? Should I go or should I stay?
We use our brain to think and to hesitate and to rationalize our actions but we use our heart when we want to be brave, impulsive, passionate and take chances.
No one has ever said that it is SILLY to follow our hearts and to do something we love but our own brain will calculate for us the PRICE we must pay, the cause and effect, the consequences of our action (or sometimes inaction). There is a price for disobedience and it is often a feeling called ‘regret’ - the heart conceding that the brain was right.

I suspect that many people these days don't understand what love is supposed to be.  So many people treat their relationships like a form of entertainment that should constantly stimulate or amuse them -- and when the old relationship gets boring, it's time to look for something new and exciting, just like changing the channel when you're tired of the show you're watching.
Courtship may be entertaining and exciting -- those early days of getting to know one another, discovering common interests and values, going out on dates.  And of course those things may continue well after the relationship has matured.  But so often, when they don't -- when the novelty of a new relationship has faded -- people start to feel like something's wrong with the relationship and it's time to move on.
Maybe we've just lost perspective, and forget that courtship is only one stage of a relationship, and that other stages will follow, and those other stages may not be a whirlwind of entertainment and excitement.  Maybe our consumer-oriented culture has finally invaded and destroyed the most intimate area of our lives, and we approach love with a list of criteria and demands the same way we would approach shopping for a new car.
I don't love that way.  When I love, it is with a commitment to loving and nurturing the other person in the long term, not just while they're entertaining me.  The mature relationship doesn't need to be boring; there is always room for growth in relationships and more to learn about each other and greater depths of intimacy to explore.
This is how I love, and it is how I want someone to love me.  Real love does not fade with fading physical beauty or become bored with the familiar.  I know it is possible; I just wonder why it isn't more common.  With so many of us lonely, starved for love and affection, and cynical about marriage, why haven't more people asked what we're doing wrong?  Do people today really think that lasting love is a fantasy and the best we can do is momentary pleasure?

```````````~~~~~~~*************************~~~~~~~``````````````
Some call this utopia - something in the future, worth fighting for. We are not sure when but it’s going to come, the brain tells us. Keep working hard, we will reach there. IT’s near ….
I asked my heart instead, and he said utopia is already here.
You may call it TODAY.
Never Never Never Quit !!! @Try wid more spirit and grace fr d next time
Don't Quit
````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you are trudging seems all uphill,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit --
Rest, if you must, but do not quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won, had he stuck it out;
Do not give up, though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow...

Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you can never tell how close you are,
It may be nearer, when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight, when you are hardest hit -
Its when things seem worst, that you must not quit.

There is no substitute for hard work...It always pays off..the  sooner or later :-)

Dedicated to all my true frnds...;-)

       (-: Keep Smiling :-)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If at times you feel you want to cry
And life seems such a trial
Above the clouds theres a bright blue sky
So make your tears a smile.
As you travel on lifes way
With its many ups and downs
Remember its quite true to say
One smile is worth a dozen frowns.
Among the worlds expensive things
A smile is very cheap
And when you give a smile away,
You get one back to keep.
Happiness comes at times to all
But sadness comes unbidden
And sometimes a few tears must fall
Among the laughter hidden.
So when friends have sadness on their face
And troubles round them piled
The world will seem a better place
And all because you smiled.
*"We Are Diplomatic"...Proved Beautifully by some of the celebs ;-)
He Didn't Remember His First Meeting until the actor Reminded him ;-P
            I must say its really a Belly-aching issue published by AT in the supplement dated : 10th september.
        Sachin Tendulkar ( The Master Blaster) always been fond of movies, but it was Aamir Khan who remembered when did they first happened to meet. Even though Sachin was a novice and Aamir Khan was an established actor. And now enlightening up the similar issue, happened the same as it is with Amir Khan, who being a splendorous celebdom was not able to recognise his school classmates and tennis-court players, with whom he had spent flawless days of childhood and then teenage. Also He was not able to recall His guru, whose guidance and blessings made him shine like a star in 21st century era. But he was, able to recall that novice cricket player, who wasn't that much established at that time.
        The Cricketer recounted, "I remember meeting Aamir in 1990 when I'd comeback from pakistan , when that movie come out, where all four of them have acted...Andaz Apna Apna... Before that, I met Aamir Khan when he was shooting at CCI, Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. I was 14, and invited by Dilip Vengsarkar, the then captain of the India team, to bat at the India nets. The test squad was practising and he made Kapil Dev Bowled at me. I just wanted to make sure I gave a first class performance, and Aamir was shooting. I was a bit caught up, but the Aamir reminds me. He's a big cricket fan, he also plays sometime. "
       That's really very great of Aamir, that he is still able to exactly point out the date and movie which was being shooted when they first met. But how come, he is not able to put any figure of his classmates and respectable Guru's...
       These matter of celebdom is so contradicting among themselve that layman get a "spiral-wind" which ends up in a Headache :p. Anyways, whatever is happening around yourself, must be appreciated.
[P.S.: Dont panic upon. Enjoy and live your life to the king size ;-)]
Yay!! Finally I got the content for first post of mah blog..:)
Heya!!
A Grand welcome to all of You!
My First blog is dedicated to My Only love....who is the real inspiration behind my every success...:)
The Superstar India (Our helping hands is still needed for making India the shining Mars)
(Representing India not only as yours or Ours but as My India..:-))
64 golden years! India is perhaps, one of the ever enduring mysteries of our times. With different glorious people around, varied language, different cultures and festivals...then also is a one Super country... There are many stories to tell. Here’s my version… CHEERs And a Grand Salute in d honor of our land..:-)
From my personal experience, it's like an era gone by... from not so glorious days of the 'Raj' to the current scenario, India has seen many a change in culture, polity, wealth creation and last but not the least, attitude. We survived partition, ushered in the green revolution, managed large scale industries and have brought our country on par with international standards.
My personal take is: From dominating hockey right from Olympics (read ‘Dhyan Chand’) to every major tournament we played, to track and field events; who can forget our flying Sikh! – ‘Milkha Singh’, we were just unmatched. Even the cricket world cup (1983) victory was something special.
Cricket - and the whole nation comes to a stand still. No wonder they say, 'Cricket is our religion and ‘Sachin’ is our GOD' the ever smiling assassin (yes, that's the word to describe him) is a treat to watch any day and now ‘Dhoni’ - jisne sabki dhulai kar di but after getting married became the goner :P. The small town guy from ‘Ranchi’ has done our country proud. He is a true leader in the making and was quite instrumental in our T20 victories. It has amply proved that by trashing some of the world’s best teams - we are no mere pushovers.
The following years have just added more Oomph! factor. Both in terms of dare devilry and the right marketing push. Who can ever forget the great industrialist 'Vijaypath Singhania' flying on a hot air balloon and his famous solo flight just about circumnavigating the globe. And then who's the blue eyed boy of the flamboyant swim suit editions (I heard, the calendars are devovered just as fast as his beer), now he is up to racing cars. Truly Force 1.
Well, let me now focus on some traditional and modern issues. India has a rich tradition about family values, and respect towards women folk (though I would debate on the current scenario), but for me - my parents (‘Maa’ & "Papa") has been my source of strength and inspiration throughout.
Coming to Indian women power! We have some of the best in sports, business, leadership and just about any field. We have our ‘Payolli Express’ (aka P.T. Usha) who brought glory in the track and field at the Olympics...and let's not forget one of our youngest and terrific performers both on-and-off-the field. Wherever she goes, she makes waves. Thy name is ‘Sania Mirza’. She has what it takes to be a true champion. Youth icons is what they rightly personify...they sure have the world at their feet.
Besides them, ‘Kalpana Chawla’, the ace astronaut rocketed into space. ‘Kiran Bedi’ the IPS officer strikes terror even in the most seasoned criminal. Talking about global leadership, ‘Indra Nooyi’ is the chairman and chief executive officer of PepsiCo, and Forbes group had listed her as one of the top 5 on The 100 Most Powerful Women in the world years back. Likewise, many of them are known ambassadors’ promoting child welfare and better living conditions, and even our former Miss World ‘Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’ has pledged to donate her eyes. Nobel deeds such as these leave a positive effect on humanity.
And now over to some reality
Well, every decade has had its fair share of problems and glorious moments. And as we glorify these sporting events (and personal milestones), we also had our infamous riots (1984) and, prior to that the ‘Maharshtra Samyukta’ movement. States were being carved out on the basis of linguistic identity. Then followed the (92-93 riots) and most tragic one the ‘Godhra’ (polarisation was at its peak). As if the partition was not enough. Suddenly, it seemed, we are not one country. An Indian in the true sense meant being a ‘Tamilian’, a ‘Marathi’, a ‘Sikh’ and what not. Regionalism seems to be the buzz word.
‘Intellectualism be damned!’
As if we don’t have enough troubles already, we certainly have criminalization of politics - our elected representatives with criminal background are ruling the roost; it seems what ever good done has been washed down the drain. Sometimes I really wonder is our India really shining?
But, no mater what, though we live in such turbulent times, there’s still hope. We have a ‘Ratan Tata’, ‘Narayan Murthy’ and the ‘Ambani’ household making us realise our true potential. The younger generation is demanding and they sure know what they want. I can definitely say we sure have the world…and there's so much more which I want to discuss: A growing economy, the trials and tribulations of the common man who is trying to make a living in these trying and turbulent times, and coming out triumphant despite the very odds. It shows what 'will power' can do. India shining is now definitely India everywhere..."Ham bhi hain team mein...lalalala".
I can go and on... and on...there are so many issues which need to be taken care of. And for that very reason, I invite you, my friends to share my version of the new India. I know that there is a super star in every one of us. You need not have to be a 'Krrish' or 'Superman' to jump over buildings - all it requires is just a change of heart and something from within to go that extra mile. Come let’s make a difference and be a part of SUPERSTAR INDIA.
Creative mind of Indian People...:-)
